The British Columbia Regional Fall Gathering (BC RFG)
The BC RFG is an inter-generational conference held every fall, with the youth portion being hosted and planned by the BC YAC. The BC RFG is usually a gathering of about 30 youth ages 13-19, and is a chance to realize we are part of a national movement of like-minded people. Every year there is a different theme to this conference, although it is almost always social action related. At this conference we meet to discuss real world issues, hang out in an inclusive and open environment, and worship together in a sacred space. Con, as it is affectionately called by youth and youth allies, is an experience beyond words, the people you meet and the experience you have are unforgettable, and many youth describe it as a life-changing event. Keep posted for information on dates and registration forms.
Pacific North-West District Conferences (PNWD Cons)
The PNWD is a region of Unitarian Universalists in the United States that serves congregations in the areas of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington State. This district hosts conferences of sometimes 200 Unitarian Universalist youth in both Spring and Fall, and one Social Political Action Group (SPAG) con in late Winter or early Spring. It too is an experience beyond words, and if you ever get the chance to go do not pass it up, it is an amazing experience.
